It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Shan Elizabeth Hornby (nee Uhlman). Shan passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Shan was known by many, yet undeniable to all who met her was her unwavering care and dedication to serving her community.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank; her children, Rhonda, Philip and Tracey; and many other grandchildren and relatives.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Joan, and her son, James.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the dedicated staff at Riverview Health Centre and Carman Memorial Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Amant Foundation, or to a charity of your choice.
Shan’s life will be celebrated at a later date in the spring.
