So very sorry to read about Shan's passing. She was such a wonderful lady and I always loved running into her over the years and catching up with her. The Hornbys were like another set of grandparents to my two sons, taking them on river walks in winter and always encouraging them to be the best they could be. Sending our heartfelt condolences to you, Frank and your family and we will treasure our many great memories of her and her wonderful spirit.

I was so sorry to learn of Shan's passing. Heartfelt condolences go out to you ,Frank, and your families. I share in your grieving as you mourn your loss . Shan was my forever friend . We started our parallel journeys in life in Grade One at Lac du Bonnet Elementary School. We walked along beside each other, apart from each other, but always near to each other, in spirit and in person . I have so many wonderful memories of a lifetime.You, her family, can take much comfort in the memories of her over the many years of her being a wife, a mother , and a grandmother. She lived a long and rich life and will live on in memory of those who knew her and loved her. How fortunate I have been to be one of those. Hugs to you all. In sympathy, Shirley Augustine.
