I have known Simone since the 70s. We worked together for many years....and Simone was the person we went to when we needed things done at the tail end....regardless of timelines or resources. She was always willing and able to help out, and she let us know that all we had to do was ask. That was so comforting in the days when we all strived to do our best to get the job done. Over time we became closer friends, along with Ron and other coworkers. I am so saddened to hear that she is no longer with us. My deepest condolences to Ron and the family, who I am sure are heart broken. May you find comfort in knowing that you always spent time together with family, friends and coworkers and you have those great memories to help you at this difficult time. Take good care of each other.

Simone was one of the nicest people we knew. She always had a smile and a laugh for us. We will miss her always. Our deepest sympathies go out to Ron, Lee-Anne, Scott and all the grandchildren. Your loss is being felt by many. Keep strong and may your memories give you comfort in this difficult time.

I met Simone when I started at the centre in March 2008. She was a very kind and genuine person who would not hesitate to help when needed. We enjoyed chatting and had lots of laughter. My sympathies to Ron and your families. May the memories keep her alive in your hearts.
