Sonya Baker passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 54 years. Sonya was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on January 27, 1961.
Left to cherish Sonya?s memory are her daughter, Sabrina (Jamie); son, Tino (Jr.); granddaughters, Tatianna and Sloane; parents, Myrna Hunter and Ralph (Dale) Baker; siblings, Rhonda (Ron), Cynthia (Harold) and Karen (Rick); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Gregory and Bradley.
Sonya, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend will be greatly and sadly missed.
On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, Sonya?s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Charleswood Community Church, 760 Charleswood Road, Winnipeg, MB, with a luncheon to follow.
