SYDNEY WALLACE WHITCROFT

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sydney “Wallace” Whitcroft, whom most of us knew as “Wally” on December 22, 2023, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CAN. He was a loving spouse to the late Georgina Mary Okimaw Langford, stepdad, grampa, great grampa, son, brother, uncle, special friend to Kathy and many, many friends. Wally was 70 years of age when he passed, he was a very loving, kind and  funny man, who loved to share jokes and laughter with everyone.

He enjoyed cooking, spending timeoutdoors, bike-riding frequently around the city of Winnipeg and surrounding areas. He also enjoyed taking pictures of his travels and had many pictures in his photo albums at home. One of Wally’s favorite hobbies were his model cars in which he had a large selection of.

Please join us for prayers on January 11, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm & January 12, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, to mourn, shares stories, and say our final goodbyes. Reception to follow at Chief Cornerstone Church located at 384 Talbot Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CAN.
