I knew Tammy Savard from growing up and going to school with her. We used to hang out and listen to our 45's and our L.p's..*Car Wash was one of our favorite songs to dance to ( 🙂 ) with our friends. We lost contact for several years until one day out of the blue she turned up at my place and had informed me that her son was dating my daughter Brittany - I was shocked to say the least..watta small world. I also remember, sometime later, the time that we met on the bus and she was in the process of putting the finishing touches of getting her Metis Status. We talked about our kids Brittany and Robbie, who now are happily married with two children.It was very clear, to me, that Tammy wanted this Metis Card to benefit her kids for education and health coverage..She looked very vibrant and was full of good intentions that day on the bus..that's how the *real Tammy was. I hope that we can all remember that aside from *the issues, she wanted to do good for her kids and wanted to help to set this up-for them (Officializing their Metis Status)-for a good future for her children and grandchildren-this is how I will remember her..for this I know Amen..May you never forget this friends and family..and my condolences to yours/my family... <3
