Hi Nan! I am working in The Pas this week for work, and saw a lady today that reminded me of you - which I thought was pretty crazy since you were raised here! I couldn't help but think back to all the family memories at your place in Gimli after I saw her. Love you lots - Pat

We enjoyed Thelma's company when she was our part time neighbour in Gimli (ie, she lived beside our cottage). She always had lots of interesting stories to share and was very good to my mother when she would be down alone at the cottage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. She rests in peace now.

Thelma and I shared many happy and hilarious times together. We curled together in Gimli. She loved her flowers and we would often go in search of wild flowers down country roads. We also loved to go fishing around different places in Manitoba. Her favorite at that time was Duck Mountain. Thelma was a treasure and I will forever keep her in my heart.

Although we met Thelma late in her life, we found a wonderful loving friendship with her and enjoyed every moment spent with her. She was a fantastic person with a huge love of laughter. Thelma had the utmost love and respect for Nikki her daughter who truly was a saint to Thelma. We will miss her laugh and her smile but will carry her memory in our hearts forever. It was our great pleasure to have known Thelma. Rest in peace dear friend and check out the golf course up there for us. We'll meet you on the first tee one day.
