My deepest sympathy to the Betz family. May God bless you with His comfort, love, and peace in your time of grief. Mr. Betz was my principal at Stevenson Britannia School. He was a genuine administrator, very kind and caring. I also had the privilege of having his son Patrick as an administrator, who also has his father's gentle qualities. Emmie Dryjski

Isabel, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your husband, William, (Bill). I know how you feel as l lost my wife, Fjola, thirteen months ago. From Bill's obituary I see you had a life with Bill full of many good experiences, while raising a family. These will all make good memories.

Bill was the principal of Buchanan School when I was hired as a guidance counselor 1990. He was a fair and honest man who understood children. He had a quiet way about him.

My deepest condolences to all of the Betz family - especially to " Miss Barker " , one of the kindest, most enjoyable and lifelong influential teachers I ever had. Mr. Betz's class was just down the hall at Linwood School and I have vivid and very fond memories of the time I had with both of you in class time and group activities. Christine ( student in 1960 )
