THEODORE HENRY KARKLIN On Saturday, September 8, 2012, Ted passed away at the Beausejour District Hospital at the age of 79 years. In compliance with Ted’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.Publish Date: Sep 15, 2012THEODORE HENRY KARKLIN June 16, 1933 – September 8, 2012 Peacefully, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, with his family by his side, Ted passed away at the Beausejour District Hospital at the age of 79 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ted’s memory are his long-time partner, Betty Holigroski, of 17 years; children Mary-Ann (Ray), John, step-son Brad Hawranik; grandchildren Molly, Brodie, Dylan, Kelvin, Stephanie, Evan, Cody and Lacey; his sister Louise as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys; parents Emil and Mary; brother Bill and his sister Kay. Ted was employed with Manitoba Conservation and then moved on to Winnipeg Hydro until his retirement. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years especially working at his property in Hadashville. We would like to thank the staff at the Beausejour District Hospital for their care. In compliance with Ted’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7 or to a charity of one’s choice.
