My father was a tough but gentle Leo. He always had fatherly advice for me when we talked. I remember sharing alot of laughs with him too. I could crack him up. I'll never forget his hearty laugh. I remember laughing with him as we watched my brother imitate Eddy Murphy on RAW. Or when he said "Erin can sing." after watching me sing the Inspector Gadget theme song. I will miss your pride, your toughness, and your soft side. Also the way you used to say I love every time we talked. Rest in peace Dad. I love you. Sincerely, Erin Marie Book

I enjoyed working with Tom primarily in the 1980's at Midwest Drilling in Winnipeg. Tom's great sense of humour and love of sports always provided us with many hours of enjoyment whether in the workplace or at the local watering hole "Clancy's". Being an American (born and raised in Pittsburgh) and a U.S. military veteran, he would always crack me up when he would say "then again, what do I know - I voted for Nixon". I am sure that if there is a Saturday afternoon baseball game today, you've arrived in time and have been pencilled in as the starting catcher - you were a heck of a good ballplayer Tom. Have fun my friend, I know that you will be throwing out some baserunners that don't know you've got a gun for an arm. Doug Howell
