Tracey Lee Rushinka (Krieger)
It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother on July 9, 2022 at the young age of 57 in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Mom will forever be loved and remembered by her two children, Jordan and Michael and her former husband Wayne. She is also survived by her older sister Karen and her younger brother John.
She is predeceased by her parents Ernie and Lila Krieger along with her brothers Wesley and Philip.
Mom was born in Edmonton on March 9, 1965, where she spent her early years and attended school graduating from Jasper Place High School. Shortly thereafter she married and moved to Pine River, Manitoba in 1984. Pine River was a small farming town where Tracey was an active member of the community all while doing her part on the farm. On August 25, 1995 her first son Jordan was welcomed into the family and on March 15, 1997 her son Michael was born. In 1999 the family made the decision to relocate and settled in Winnipeg where Tracey worked as an early childhood educator for many years while raising her two boys. Tracey liked learning new things and was always researching things that interested her. In her free time she volunteered canvasing for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Tracey had a passion for the outdoors, where she enjoyed many things like gardening, canoeing and sports. She loved attending live sporting events, especially the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where she would always dress up in all her fan gear for the occasion. Mom also spent lots of her time at Assiniboine Park where she loved going for walks through the flower gardens and also volunteering there when she could. Tracey had a love for animals especially her two cats Cindy and Snowy. What she loved more than anything else was spending time with her two boys. She had such a kind soul and a very generous heart, she would always give you the world without expecting anything in return.
Mom, you left us so many beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and although we cannot see you, you’ll forever be by our side.
A memorial Service will be held at Prairie spirit United Church, 207 Thompson Drive in Winnipeg where a public viewing will begin at 1pm with a service to follow at 2pm.
