I just heard today about Vern's passing. I am so sorry to hear about it. Vern was a devoted husband & father to his family & a very caring friend to all who knew him. I worked with Myrtha many years ago, & still remember how generous they were to me when I needed a kitchen table years ago, they sold it to me at a very affordable price. Years later I was surprised to bump into them, having moved only 2 blocks away from them! Nice to get back in touch with them. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to Myrtha, Cathy and family, during this time of loss. I met Vern 38 years ago at the International Inn and worked with him until his retirement. Vern knew how to effortlessly WOW the guest which generated repeat business for the company. He was one of the most fun people to be around and effortlessly made everyone else have a good time. Well my friend (Kookamunga) you will be driving that Big Rig down the Highways in Heaven. Ralf and I will raise a glass to-night and recall all the fond memories. Till we meet again..R.I.P. Vern
