VIRGINIA MICHELLE CHRISTIAN

October 11,1979 – September 12, 2020

Virginia was brought into this world on October 11, 1979. She was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was the most amazing Mother, Daughter, and Friend. She had many talents and had went to Art School, Modeling and also played baseball growing up. Virginia enjoyed spending lots of time with her three children, watching movies and having tons of munchies! She had also really enjoyed hairdressing which she had gone to college for and was extremely wonderful at doing. She loved spending time with her close family such as her Mom and Step-Dad, Grandma Dorothy, Aunty Michele, Uncle Dave, Aunty Karen, Uncle Art, and Aunty Ingrid. Along with her two best friends Jenn Knapp and Aimee Meeches, as the years went by, she did not see them often but when she did, it was always a great time, she had many of her favourite memories with them.

Her stepfather Don had tried many times to help her and be her friend. Virginia had battled with drug addiction for many years. It had taken so much from her, it took her beauty, it took her smile, it took her sparkle, it took and took until it had taken her life on September 12, 2020. That day, heaven gained the most beautiful soul. Virginia’s mother Debbie loved her beautiful daughter endlessly and wanted her to know these exact words. “Until I take my last breath, I will always love you -Mom”

Virginia’s children, Dylan, Garrett, and Jayda will never forget what a fantastic momma she was, her beautiful face will never leave their minds and they will never forget about how she always went above and beyond for them, they are at peace knowing she is no longer hurting from all the battles that life had thrown at her, she will forever be in their hearts. Her grandbaby Hudson and second grandbaby, on the way will, always be reminded about their lovely grandmother and how much of a great person she was.

“In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away, you suffered much in silence you fought so hard to stay, now you are so peaceful, free from pain. We would not wish you back, to suffer that again. You didn’t deserve what you went through, we will miss you and love you until the end of our days.”

We would also like to thank Jessica Smith, Noreen Smith, Freedom Smith, and Tanisha Nickels (Virginia’s Niece) for their support and thoughtfulness during this difficult time, and for helping us with our healing.
