I was very sorry to hear about Walter's passing. My condolences to Irene, and to all of his family, extended family, and to his friends. I got to know Walter only recently, but I enjoyed meeting him and chatting with him. May God comfort your family in your loss and surround you with love as you remember Walter and all that he meant to you.

I was in the Grace Hospital at the same time as Walter. He and I had some colourful conversations in that short time. I believe we solved most of the world's problems during these talks. Goodbye my friend. May God listen to your stories with as much interest as I did.Brian Kipling

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Walter Born. I'm a cousin - my mother, Dora Braun, was his mother's sister. Our family visited the family in my younger days and I would play with Clara. I remember Walter very well as he grew up along side his many siblings. He made a tin can & string telephone that we used to call into from the top bunk bed to someone down below! I thought that was pretty cool!
