Walter was best known to me when our families farmed at Swan Lake, by Vernon, BC. He left for the Airforce as a teenager, so there was a long interval before our paths met again - I met his fine wife Laura, along with Walter after their marriage on several occasions. He is remembered by me as a generous man who never forgot his extended family, namely my Mother, father and myself. Walter was raised in the Evangelical/Penticostal persuasion, while I was raised Ukrainian Catholic. Peter Affawicki

My 3rd and last Brother of 4, Walter Roy has gone and left us. Although we know that he is now free of pain, we will miss him so, and it will take time and healing to mend your broken hearts as well as ours. To his immediate family we send our sincere condolences and pray for the comfort of God to be your strength day to day. The loss now of our four brothers is difficult to realize but we know that God is in control of all things.With loving memories from sister JUDY & Lavern Fox as well as our entire family being: Vince & RENEE, Ryan, Rachael; DEAN & Pam, Brittany, Corbin.
