WANDA MALECKI
    It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Wanda Malecki on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Residence, at the age of 83 years.   Remaining to forever cherish Wanda’s memory are her daughter, Kazimiera (Edward) in Poland; son Joseph (Margaret); granddaughters, Iwona and Ola; as well as great-grandchildren, Kinga and Kamil. She was predeceased by her husband, Mieczyslaw; two brothers; and three sisters.   On February 14, 1932, Wanda was born in Ciemierzynce, Poland. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1967. Wanda worked in the garment industry until retirement in 1992.   Prayers will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba with an Oblate Father presiding.
