WENDY THOMPSON
(Nee BOGDAN)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Thompson, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She left us on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from the comfort of her own home in Winnipeg, at the age of 56 years.
Left to cherish Wendy?s memory are her husband Michael Thompson; sons, Justin Stear (Anika) and Nicholas Thompson (Leslie); grandson, Gordon Joseph Thompson; and respective families.
Wendy was a wife, and a mother, whose shining personality brightened the lives of all around her. She married her husband Mike; with whom she spent 24 wonderful years, on July 27, 2002. Wendy worked much of her life at Walmart, where she was the OTC manager for many years. Never afraid to speak her mind, but with a heart of gold, she earned the respect and admiration of all who were privileged to know her. Summers would be filled with plenty of sunshine, be it gardening or just lounging with a book. Cold weather would always bring lots of baking and other assorted delicious foods. You could always count on Wendy to lend an ear or a shoulder, and her sense of humour would lighten anyone’s mood. Although her time with us was cut much too brief, the impact she had on everyone’s lives will continue to influence us all forever. No amount of time with you could ever have been enough, but we love you and miss you dearly.
As per Wendy’s request, there will be no service.
