It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our son and brother, William James Brown, at the age of 56 years. Bill will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his father John; siblings Betty McConnell, Carol Szuminsky, Jack, Barb (Steve) Lamotte, Bob (Joanne), Bonnie (Rod) MacDonald, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Florence Brown and brother-in-law Roy McConnell. In his early years Bill was a member of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. He had a keen interest in history and WWII militaria. William was employed by Great-West Life for 27 years in the Dental Claims Division. He was an avid animal lover and had a tender spot in his heart for all of God’s creatures. Bill was a very kind and caring person and always put his family ahead of himself. He will be dearly missed by all of us. As per Bill’s wishes, he has been cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
