To know that my day will never be blessed with his visits again saddens me, but knowing Bill, he probably is already coaching the Habs of heaven. You will always have a place in my heart Bill and when you see x Giant players up there ( if there are any ) please be gentle on them. Just for you Bill...GO HABS GO..........

I will always remeber Billy for the kind, caring happy and positive man. I always enjoyed playing hockey with you Billy, I hope you are scoring many goals now and I look forward to receiving the next pass from you when I see you again. You will be deeply missed. Rest in peace.

Lynn, so sorry to hear of your loss. I must add losses since your family moved away from the farm at Sandy Hook we had lost contact with them and didn't realize your Mom had passed on too. Our deepest sympathy to you at this very difficult time.

I am so deeply saddened by the news of Bill's passing. I was only his neighbour across the hall for a year but it was one in which I looked forward to seeing Bill on his walks and talking with him. So positive, intelligent, kind and gentle. Our loss, heaven's gain. Rest in peace Bill.

Lynn, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember many a time when your mom, dad and Billy would stop by my parents' home in Sandy Hook to visit! He was always so gentle, kind and quiet! RIP Billie! There is another angel looking down among us! Debbie

Enjoyed my many talks with Bill over last six years living across the hall from him.He never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone he always saw the best in things. I miss our talks Bill.R.I.P.

I have spent many a bus ride to and from work with Bill over the years. He always made the ride more enjoyable. Such a nice guy!!!

It was always a joy to see Bill sitting having a pint at Smitty's, when he spoke there was always something positive or funny that was said. He will be greatly missed.

We were fortunate to have Bill as our neighbour and we will miss seeing him on his daily walks as everyone will in our Condo Complex. Everyone knew Bill. Our deepest condolences to his family.
