WILLIAM GERALD WALKER On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, William Walker passed away at Grace Hospital, at the age of 85 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is now with the love of his life, Valey Walker. Remaining to cherish Bill’s memory are his son, Leonard Walker; his brother Mal; as well as many nieces; nephews and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Valey. They were constant companions and loved visiting with family and friends.Bill was born in France on February 23, 1932. He was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years, where he served as a meteorologist and in the Artillery. He was an avid golfer and loved to play a few rounds with his friend and golfing buddy, Herb Neufeld. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in the summer of 2017, in order to provide family and friends from outside of the province the opportunity to attend.
