WILLIAMINA SIM ARMSTRONG

Mom passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024 at the age of 95, surrounded by love and family. Wilma is predeceased by her beloved husband Dave. She leaves behind her 3 children: David , Eileen (Dave), Randy (Lorrie) and her 5 grandsons, Colin, Ryan, David, Will & Tim who will miss their nana very much. She loved and adored her grandsons very much.

Mom & Dad immigrated to Canada from Scotland making Winnipeg their home. Their ties to Scotland remained strong. We all remember the many family trips to Scotland, which we all cherish.

Wilma loved spending time at their Lac Du Bonnet home and wintering in Texas. Mom loved time with friends and family: 3:00 pm meant happy hour and fun with friends. We all toasted her long happy life at her bedside and made sure all our Rye & 7’s had a cherry in the glass.

We would like to sincerely thank the staff on the 3rd floor at the Kildonan Personal Care Home. Also, we would like to thank the recreational staff who kept mom busy with activities, which she like to participate in.
