ZUZANA PALES

It is with great sadness and love, our family announces the sudden passing of Zuzana Pales (Bujzas) on Wednesday October 4th, 2023, at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 74 surrounded by family.

Our mother Zuzana was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband of 16 years Samuel Pales.

Zuzana will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Susanne (Hector), son Samuel (Tracy) and daughter Andrea (Elaine).
Along with her sister Anna, nephew Vladimir (Anna), niece Zdenka and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Michael, Benjamin (Vanessa), Gabriella (Teren), Carson, Hannah, Emma, Tessa, Joshua, Samuel, Hope, Harmony, Ariella, Bailey and Julianna.

Zuzana was born to parents Jan and Anna Bujzas, in the small town of Ba?ki Petrovac, Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia), the youngest of two sisters. Zuzana immigrated to Canada in 1970 to make it her home with her husband Samuel.

Zuzana had a strong work ethic, working many years in the textile industry and in health care.

Zuzana will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, her independence and her amazing sense of humor.

A private memorial with immediate family will be held next week.

The family thanks the staff at Health Sciences Centre for making Zuzana’s last days as comfortable as possible.
